AK2 Golf Academy at Hayden Lake Country Club is the North West’s Premier location for Golf Instruction and professional club fitting includes Indoor and Outdoor facilities. The practice facility contains a three-hole practice course, double-sided grass driving range with chipping and putting greens, two separate short-game practice areas with bunkers, three putting greens and two state-of-the-art indoor golf simulators. The 18-hole course plays just over 6,000 yards to a par of 70.

A membership at the Hayden Lake Country Club is a family membership including children under the age of 21. A breakdown of the memberships offered is listed below. Each membership category is limited in number and you may have to go on a waiting list. Please check with our office to see what is available.
STOCKHOLDING MEMBERSHIP has full golf and tennis privileges. Voting privileges are limited to the Stockholding Membership.
JUNIOR AND JUNIOR LEGACY MEMBERSHIPS are available for applicants age 21 to 39 and carries full golf and tennis privileges. The Junior Legacy is available to children or grandchildren of current stockholding members. At 36 you may convert to a full stockholding membership, or there is an option of paying an annual membership fee assessment equal to 10% of the outstanding membership fee owed, which will be credited against the total membership fee due at the time of conversion to a full stockholding member.
The Hayden Lake Country Club is a member-owned club rich in history and tradition. The Club is dedicated to maintaining its strong tradition by providing first class recreation, cuisine, and hospitality facilities.
Today, Club facilities include an 18 hole golf course, three hole practice course, driving and chipping range, Red House, (home of our two golf simulators, tennis and pickleball courts) a marina, private beach and swimming dock, eight hotel rooms, six cabanas, and a spacious clubhouse.
Once a favorite gathering place for the Coeur d’Alene Indian Tribe, the Club location on the shores of Hayden Lake was originally the site of the Bozanta Tavern (Bozanta is an Indian word meaning “meeting place by the lake”). J.C. Olmsted of the distinguished Brookline, Massachusetts Firm of landscape architects, (who designed New York’s Central park) was brought out to plan the grounds. The lakeside resort was designed in 1907 by Kirtland Cutter, the leading Northwest architect of the era. In 1927 ownership of the tavern was transferred from the Inland Empire Railroad to a group of Spokane and Coeur d’Alene businessmen. It then became known as The Hayden Lake Country Club, and today is regarded as one of the premier clubs in the Western United States.
